Dead man found in home north of Brisbane

The body of a man has been found in a home north of Brisbane.

Police were called to the property on Winifred Street in Burpengary about 9am on Friday.

They found the dead man upon arrival at the Moreton Bay home a short time later.

Photos from the scene show a house, two cars and a trailer cordoned off by police tape.

Police said they were still determining a cause of death and investigations were ongoing.

A press conference at the Petrie police station was planned for 2.30pm.
